For over a decade we have had village clean-ups in April and October. To continue the tradition, we had arranged another clean-up on Saturday 21st October. As usual we meet at the Chapel at 10.30am to be given a stretch in the village to cover, a litter picker and gloves and plastic bags to put the litter in.
After an hour of litter picking we had tea, coffee, juice and cakes at the Chapel. Many thanks to the 20 people who helped out, to Dot and Edith for making the cakes, to Phil for organising the equipment for the clean-up, to Finn for making the posters and putting them up and to the Chapel for letting us use their building as our HQ.
The picture only shows some of the litter collected as some people took the collected litter home to put in their wheeler bin.
